Before going freelance full time, I spent more than seven years serving as an executive assistant to a top government official, more than ten years writing for Christian publications on the side, and about two years editing for an online publication. I was surprised to discover that I've been writing professionally for 15 years now, both for creative and technical genres.I’ve also conducted writing workshops for beginning writers, using modules that I’ve designed and written.

I am also a licensed teacher and an ESL tutor, with special focus on creative writing.
